Grandma meet grand dog
So the past week or so has been busy with the same old stuff, house and dog. My mom arrive last week Tuesday for a fun week of shopping a lot for the house, and maybe some clothes for us too. During her visit we managed to squeeze in a little gardening and I planted a few Mums in the front flower bed for a nice autumn look. We all were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset during a dinner at the Edge Water. View was amazing, food was so-so. It just so happens that I'm going to judge a restaurant a little harsher if they serve sweet potato fries and don't have maple syrup on the premise. My mom had a great time the entire week getting to know her grand dog too!
Molly's days are spent lounging around, going for daily walks, playing with a plethora of toys, digging holes, and chowing down. She had her 12-week doctor appointment today where our little pup has gained a whopping 10 pounds in the last month! I was stunned when I saw 24.5 pop up on the scale and thought maybe our dog was starting down the path to obesity. Dr. Kate assured me this was totally normal and that Molly was going to end up being about 65-70 pounds...HOLY CRAP! She is mostly a dream dog with the occasional rabid moment, and regardless of her giantess we completely love our crazy pup.

Look at how CUTE she is!!! Love her! Does she jump in the pool at all?
ReplyDeleteShe's sat on the first step going into the pool, but we may have encouraged that too. She has yet to take a swim willingly. She LOVES to watch the beach ball floating around in it though.
ReplyDeleteSweet potato fries and maple syrup? What in the whole world? I just threw up in my mouth a little bit...
ReplyDeleteDid they at least have honey butter for your sweet potato fries? :)
ReplyDeleteTami~ don't judge (or throw up in your mouth) until you try it...it's amazing.
ReplyDeleteCorrie~ all they had to offer was ketchup, I was highly disappointed, we may not be returning.
I don't know...my Roxie just made it to 1 lb. 7 oz. at 12 weeks. She might win the cutest dog in the Sanders family once you see her. She went to her first puppy class yesterday and was the star of the class, if that meant she ignored every dog and went to every person that had treats. Roxie was in Heaven. The only treats that she gets here is a piece of her dog food and now, the other owners have let the "cat" out of the bag. Now she just spits those "treats" out!
