The real title of this blog should be "Big Girl's Don't Cry" because we just got home from Colbie's six month visit and the girl hardly even got upset with her two shots. She cried for half a second with the second one but before the band-aides were even on she was totally fine. Once again, Little Miss proves herself to be a lot tougher than her mama.
Things that do make Colbie cry:
1. Me leaving her line of vision
2. Strangers
3. Waking up hungry.
4. teething
and that's about it.
Things that make Colbie happy:
1. mama and daddy
2. books and toys
3. food
4. dance parties
5. Molly
6. sitting like a big girl
7. practicing standing
8. tickling
At our visit to the doctor's office this morning, we got a clean bill of health and they all thought she was developing perfectly. No concerns at all, yah!!! As for her growth, here are the latest stats:
weight: 14lbs 13 oz. (28%)
height: 25.5 inches (43%), this is up from 25% at her 4 month visit!
head circumference: 41.1 cm (15%)
I give you the World's Happiest Baby!

Here she is showing off her perfect pike position. A lot of times she sits with her legs perfectly straight in front of her and her toes pointed. We might just have a gymnast on our hands:)

Love the perfect pike! Phil and Clare would be proud...seeing as they've worked on that in the pool, in the house, and in the air. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy half-birthday to our little birthday buddy! :)
She's just TOO Cute for her own good:)
ReplyDeleteSix months...man that goes by so quickly. I may be jumping the gun and stealing your idea for down the road, but I humbly request a blog of just month-old photos so we can see how big she has gotten! Sure, I could just go look at them one-by-one, but it would be more fun to see them all together. Feel free to disregard my request however. Ha! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting all these great photos!!
AWWW! She's so happy! You both are amazing parents! I think Colbie's parents make her the happiest!
ReplyDeleteAww- she is so sweet!
