Poor girl had her 15 month check up on Valentine's morning, but as usual, proved to be a total trooper. I think it helped that the hubs stayed home and took us out for brunch ahead of time so we could sugar little miss up with a pancake :)
The doctor was totally impressed with Colbie's growth and development including how well she follows commands, how many words she has (>15!), and how social she seemed. We of course have known all along that she is pretty great!
As for her stats she is just over 23 pounds and just over 30 inches, which is the 50% for both. She is following her growth curve well.
Some of Colbie's favorites right now include:
rocking, kissing, burping her babies
reading books with mom or dad
tickling people
giving kisses
playing hide and seek/peek-a-boo
chasing and being chased
Talking, talking and more talking...nonstop
and of course, Molly
Some of Colbie's least favorites right now are:
vegetables
and that is really about it. She is a super happy girl all of the time!!!
And here are the most recent pictures my friend Laura of Laurel & Stars took of Colbie for Valentines. I continue to take no credit for my child's beauty, so I think I'm allowed to say it, isn't she stunning!?!?!?
YES! She IS! Perfect in every way. :) What a little precious gift every single day! Laura did a great job, as always. Seeing patients (especially when they have great parents like you and D.B.!) like Colbie is always the highlight of my day.
ReplyDeleteWhat a chatty little lady. I remember Clare being that way too. Isaac, on the other hand, is fine with saying nothing. He has a few words, but the rest is moaning, grunting, and gesturing. Oh...the differences in the sexes. :)
