Summer Dress and Airplanes

The beginning to April was much anticipated.  Once I got off of a stretch of work, we were off to Florida.  We had high hopes of saying good bye to the snow for good, but given the forecast for this Thursday (April 25th) is snow flurries, that hope has been crushed.  Despite returning to crummy weather here, we had a great time in the sun!!!!

Colbie had been looking forward to the trip for two specific reasons:

1.  She wanted to wear her summer dress, and
2.  She wanted to ride the airplane.

The girl has flown a lot in her little life time, but I don’t think she remembers, so this was quite the adventure!

Ready for take off:

We didn’t get in until late, so our first official day in Florida was a little slow to start.  It did however include the summer dress and a picnic by the water!
