It was a beautiful day on campus, and the girls had a blast!

And then she sang along to every song. I’m not even joking, it was hilarious!
Hard to see, but Colbie was clapping while marching in place to the Victory March. She has decided that she would like to play a "small, loud instrument, like a harmonica" when she is in the band.

And just for fun, here is a picture of the hubs and Colbie during her first visit to campus. Syd was wearing this exact outfit for her first day (totally planned for photo purposes) but decided to blow it out with poo on the car ride down. Luckily we had her backup sweatshirt.
After a wonderful time on campus, we headed over to college friends of the hubs’ for a wonderful homecooked dinner. Thank you so much Nathan, Katie, Mary and Baby Teresa for a wonderful evening.
Then it was on to St. Joseph, MI for a continued weekend of fun. Saturday morning Papa and GG arrived and the boys headed back down to ND for the football game (Irish victory, if you were wondering) while the ladies went shopping, drank coffee and of course sat on every piece of down town fun we came across.
Then we headed down to the beach for a ride on the carousel. Syd loved watching it, but was not pleased with the actual ride.
The day, although not pictured, also included swimming at the hotel pool, dinner together and lots of fun time with Papa and GG in the hotel.
Sunday morning it was back home, but we had so much fun in St. Joe’s that it might just have to become a yearly tradition!
