Little Requests from a big girl

Colbie only asked for a few things for her actual birthday 1) to get her nails done 2) to go to Starbucks and 3) ride the escalator at Target.  We are kind of hoping that birthday lists remain this sweet and simple in the future, but we are doubtful :).

Colbie awoke the morning of her birthday to a room full of balloons.  We did this for her 2nd birthday as well, but this year was way more exciting!

She couldn’t bring herself to let the balloons go.

After a quick bowl of “Mama’s cereal”, which is a huge treat for Colbie, Mama and her were off for a special breakfast together.

Next we headed to Scoops, a salon just for kids to get C’s nails done.  Upon arriving at 10am, they informed us that they did not have a manicure opening until 6pm (WHAT?!?!).  Colbie looked heartbroken.  They quickly listed off a few other services they could provide, including....a glitter tattoo.

Next, we headed to the little chop shop in the mall where C was able to have one of her birthday wishes fulfilled!

Did I mention that she got to pick out her own outfit on her birthday?  :)

The next two birthday wishes could be fulfilled at once.  After her manicure, we headed to the Target with the escalator where our first stop was Starbucks...for a cakepop.

I really don’t have pictures from the evening, but the evening included a pizza party for a few of Colbie’s best playmates.  She had a blast!

  1. What a fun day! It's great having girls for those special kind of outings. Very curious...what is "Mama's cereal"?
