About time

So our niece, Simone, has been waiting for five months to meet her new cousin, and finally we were able to make that happen.  The hubs had a conference out of state a week ago and I had some time off of work, so I packed the van up and drove it right onto the ferry headed to Michigan.  The girls both did pretty well during traveling, and loved being at Papa and GG’s house.  But what they loved most was their big cousin Simoney-roni.

Oh, and Uncle Lance thought it was about time he got to hold Small Fry too!

Other than visiting with a couple of friends, we mostly did a lot of hanging out at the house during our trip

Except for Colbie got poison ivy

And some serious allergies:

As for Syd, she took 40 minute long baths in the sink.  Why so long?  Well, it appears we have a spa girl on our hands, and she was the world’s happiest baby in this spa!

With the exception of the poison ivy and allergies, we had a great time on our couple of days away and can’t wait to go back and see everyone (but mostly Simone if you ask Colbie) again!
