But before we headed out on the boat the girls got to do something that doesn’t really happen at our house a lot, watch cartoons! And someone was pretty excited with this special treat, and wanted to tell Syd all about it!
I mean seriously, how cute are these sisters?
I had my doubts that Sydney was going to tolerate the boat ride between the life jacket, noise and heat (it was really hot!), but she did great and took her best nap ever!
And #1, she is a seasoned boater, and LOVES it.
And takes it very seriously.
In addition to just cruising around, we also checked out some awesome wildlife. We saw a bunch of dolphins, a bald eagle and then went back into some swampier creeks and spotted an alligator! Colbie was really excited about the idea of seeing a gator, until we spotted it, then she was not so happy about it :).
After our boat ride we went over to our friends for dinner, which was amazing! Overall, a great last day of our trip. Just wish our trip didn’t have to come to an end.
