Dinosaurs and Trollies and Pizza, Oh My!

A couple of weeks ago we headed to Kenosha to visit some high school friends of mine.  They happen to have a little guy, Gannon who is about six weeks older than Colbie.  They also happen to have a little girl, Annalee who is about six weeks younger than Syd.  Can we say BFF’s for everyone?!?!?!

Erich and Dena, my friends, have come to Madison a couple of times to visit, so it was high time we headed to their place, and Kenosha did not disappoint.

First up, the dinosaur museum!

It was super small, but had a lot to see in it.  Probably the perfect size museum for a two year old.

Right outside of the museum we got picked up to go on a trolley ride.  This may have been the best moment in Colbie’s life so far.

Syd thought it was pretty great too!

Here’s Dena and me on the trolley.  We let the boys man the children while we manned the diaper bags

Getting off of the trolley was a pretty sad scene for anyone walking by.  Both Gannon and Colbie were pretty upset by the ride being over.  Good thing they had each other to cheer each other up:

This blog post, and these pictures were the two same lovebirds almost exactly two years ago to the day!

We had good intentions of taking pictures of the new besties together too, but all of the excitement from the day had already wore them both out:

There’s always next time.

Thanks for the great day Erich, Dena, Gannon and Annalee!  We can’t wait to see you again soon!!!
