Summer time in Seattle

Ok, back to our vacation, that was pretty much a month ago...ugh.  After our five+ days in Chelan, we headed back to Seattle for a short trip that was filled with fun, family, friends and adventure.

We have a number of the “Goodnight ______” books in the series, including this one:

Colbie is at the age where she loves a little adventure and seeing things we’ve read all about.  During our Seattle trip we went to Pike Place Market

The first of many times C had to stop and dance at the market :)

Stopping by for a sample of a peach.

 Watching the fish fly!

I can’t help but think about when the hubs took me to Pike Place on my first trip to Seattle eight years ago (before we were even engaged!), and now being back with the girls.  Feeling pretty blessed these days.

C’s favorite part of the market?  All of the different street musicians!

The hubs showing Colbie the flowers we had at our wedding.

Picking out flowers for Aunt Dianne

“Good morning, Puget Sound.  Good morning Seattle friends and families.  Good morning, ferry and sailboats.  Are we ready to share a wonderful day?":

We also saw Lake Union houseboats, Mt. Rainier and the Space Needle, not pictured here but are in our Goodnight Seattle book!

In addition to our Goodnight savanger hunt, we ate at one of our favorite breakfast spots:

Had lunch with Aunt Dianne and Uncle Mark, visited the new Seattle Children’s ED (just visiting, not checking in this time :)), had dinner with our lovely friends Adam and Andrea, and then the last day...

had a blast with some of my wonderful friends from Seattle Children’s and their sweet little one’s!

Penny going in for the smooch:

We can’t wait until our next trip back where we can see our friends and family again, and of course continue our Good Night Seattle adventures!
