Cutest Laundry in Town: Month 11

It seems we have a real mover and a shaker around here.  This sweet baby of ours is always on the go, and usually going toward the most dangerous things.  I have the house baby proofed pretty well, but her favorite activities include: trying to get into the laundry room to eat dog food (because that’s not a choking hazard or anything when you only have two teeth), standing at the gate to the stairs while trying to shake the gate open, breaking into the bathroom to unroll (and eat) toilet paper and then straight to the dishwasher to check if the door happens to be open so she can crawl on top.  Then...she repeats these four activities at least 10 more times per day.  If you catch her in the act and say her name, she usually looks right at you, shakes her head and says, “no no no”.  And then, she gives you the biggest, sweetest, most mischievous smile ever and she has won again :).

See, I’m not lying.  This girl seeks out danger:

I had forgotten how fun this age really is.  It’s amazing how everyday you can actually watch them learn new things.  Just yesterday Sydey started blowing kisses, and her vocabulary has exploded to: dada, mama, uh-uh (uh-oh), hi,  no-no, yesh (yes), and mo (more).

Sydey’s fav’s these days:

Walking everywhere while holding onto our hands
Knocking block towers over
All table food.  We hardly bother with baby food anymore as she’ll turn her nose right up at it.
Baths
Her sister
Dancing
Peek-a-boo
Wagon rides
Stair climbing (and she is FAST when she wants to be)
waving
clapping
raspberries (both the fruit and blowing them)

Dislikes:

Diaper changes (ain’t nobody got time for that)
Having something taken away from her (leaves she is about to eat, toilet paper, etc)
Being redirected
Babyfood
Carseat (that has remained a constant since day one)

And here’s our laundry, the load just keeps getting bigger and bigger :)

And the chair of danger, which she sat in pretty cooperatively today:
