Michigan trip, the rest of the time

With close to two weeks being spent in Michigan this fall, we had a lot of time to play and a lot of time to relax with family and friends.  Here is a glimpse of the rest of our trip:

The two cousins got to spend lots of time together and moment like this were not uncommon to see:

Yes, that is the cat in the cradle

How to meet the request of a niece who wants 2 purple, 1 pink, 2 gray, and 1 red clip in her very long hair.

Colbie taking the wheel of a professional race car simulator with a little help from Uncle Lance to reach the pedals

Lazy mornings spent playing in our pj's

My good friend Becky, from home who also happened to be my college roommate, and her new, super cute daughter Makenzie

We were in town for Fremont's Harvest Festival, which included a really great parade:

Hi Uncle Bill!

Real live pony rides!!!!

And a petting farm.  I think Simone told my brother that Harvest Festival night was the most fun she had ever had!

  1. Looks like you guys had such a great time! We just got back from looking at treasure island vacation rentals, for next summer. It seems like a perfect place to take the kids next year!
