Today was bittersweet as we officially left Seattle. After one last run around Green Lake, Hillary's last chat and coffee with Sara (for a little while), and D.B.'s visit with his grandma, we hit the road with the car we just picked up this morning from the shop. The trip to eastern Washington was uneventful with the exception of D.B.'s geography pop quiz. Go ahead and try to name all of the state capitols, it's harder than you think. Once in Spokane we stopped by Gonzaga University (Go Zags!) home of famous alumni including Bing Crosby, John Stockton, Jason Sanders, and K.C. Sanders, which leads us to our first random roadtrip trivia question:
Here Hillary is with Bing Crosby, but that is not actually his real name, what was it?

We enjoyed a great dinner after our college visit and then we were on the road again. Right along highway 90 we found this little piece of Americana:

Shortly after our pit stop we crossed the state line and were officially in Idaho!

We are settled into our hotel in beautiful Coeur d'Alene for the night and are going to sleep fast in order to be ready to head to Yellowstone tomorrow!
