Dog Days of Summer

Another eventful day here in Madison as we prepare to head back to the northwest for a two week vacation. The house is coming along beautifully (loving the paint and lack of wallpaper) and we will be posting more before and after pictures shortly after our trip back west. We have a lot we need to get done before we leave but one thing that was priority was getting ready for the puppy! We get to pick her up the day after we get home, so some preparation had to be done. Along with getting all of her necessities we headed over to visit puppy one more time. Here is a couple of pics of our very sweet dog.

And here in the picture of puppy when we were leaving. She was either sad to see us go or tired from all of the playing, I vote sad.
Most likely the next blog will be a few weeks away, telling the many tales of our weeks in Chelan and Alaska, and then lots of blogs about the adventures of first time puppy ownership.
