Road Trip Day 7: Crossing the Mississippi and Heading Home

Overall our last day was pretty uneventful. We woke up early in Chamberlin, South Dakota and took off toward the Minnesota boarder. Pretty much nothing exciting happened all day until we pulled into our driveway in Madison just after 5pm.

The road trip turned out to be a complete success. We saw old friends, visited three national parks, ran with a bear in a field next to us, kayaked a beautiful lake, hiked up to waterfalls, drank a lot of coffee and Coke Zero, and the Stratus made it the whole way!

Now we are safe at home, busy unpacking and getting used to be home owners. Hope you have enjoyed our road trip with us, and we will be posting soon with lots of house/Madison updates.

  1. What a great road trip you had! Awesome photos, glad old crapful got it's name back, you weren't attacked by the running bear, you had great food in odd places (wall???), went to Cody during Rodeo Days, and are in your new home. We miss you Hillary but I know you'll have a lot of fun in your new job.....keep the blog up!!! kk
