We took off from Jean's apartment (thanks a ton Jean) pretty early and started heading down to Grand Teton National Park. On the way we had to drive by the entrance of Old Crapful, and D.B. decided he wanted to give it one more shot, Hillary decided she needed coffee. Once at the lodge we got coffee and perched ourselves on the deck to see if Old Crapful had anything to show us today or if it was going to live up to it's new name. Shortly after arriving it started to rain but we stuck around anyway, then out of nowhere water and steam shot out of this hole in the ground and went at least 50 feet up...it was incredible! So, after less than 24 hours of being Old Crapful we thought we would show the geyser some respect and give it it's real name back.
We headed down to Grand Teton National Park next where we planned on camping for the night. On the way we drove past Jackson Lake and it was amazing. When we pulled up to the side of the road Hillary stated that it was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen while D.B. said it was almost as pretty as Lake Chelan. This is also when Hillary proclaimed "If I were a bear, I would live here!"
After setting up camp we headed down toward Jenny Lake and hopped on a little boat to head across and do a little hiking. We hiked only a couple of miles total but saw Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point, both beautiful.
After the boat ride back we headed to Leek's Marina for some really tasty pizza, and then back to camp where we saw more mosquitos than either of us had ever seen before.
